Terms of Service

1. The service

OneIsFake provides browser games and quizzes that train you to tell AI-generated media apart from real media. Features may change, and we may add, limit or discontinue parts of the service at any time.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use OneIsFake. You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current.

3. Acceptable use

• Do not cheat, automate gameplay, or manipulate scores and leaderboards.
• Do not scrape, resell or bulk-download our media library.
• Do not attempt to breach security, reverse engineer, or overload the service.
• Do not upload or submit unlawful, hateful, or infringing content.

We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.

4. Intellectual property

The OneIsFake name, logo, design, code and curated media sets are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for private, non-commercial purposes. Third-party images are used under their respective licences.

5. Educational purpose and no warranty of accuracy

Game content is for education and entertainment. Labels such as "AI" or "Real" reflect our best knowledge of each item's origin and must not be relied on as forensic proof, legal evidence, or professional advice.

6. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for intent, gross negligence, or injury to life or health. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

7. Termination

You may stop using OneIsFake and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms or if required by law.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; we will announce material changes on the site. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Norwegian law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. Contact legal@oneisfake.com first — most issues are solved quickly without formal proceedings. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
